Chuang Chen
Hello
I am a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of Pittsburgh.
My research fields are Comparative Politics and American Politics. My research mainly focuses on immigration politics both in the U.S. and in the comparative context. I am interested in the relation between immigration, populism, partisanship, and voting behavior across countries. My past and current research has examined how immigration politics varies in Latin America, Western Europe, and the U.S. Considering the transnational nature of the immigration issue, my research from the comparative perspective aims to contribute to the communication between scholarship in both American Politics and Comparative Politics.
I also hold a master's degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a master's degree in English language and literature (American studies) from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
